Job summary

Your Health Organization in Myrtle Beach seeks a Clinical Scheduler to coordinate care team scheduling, ensuring patients receive appropriate in-person encounters under the value-based care model. The role requires strong organizational skills, healthcare scheduling experience, and proficiency with multiple software systems (including AthenaText).

This is a full-time, 8-hour day shift, Monday to Friday, in our Myrtle Beach office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare degree preferred.
• CMA, LPN or RN credentials preferred.
• Experience in medical/healthcare scheduling or administrative role.
• Familiar with medical terminology, procedures, and insurance verification.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; multitasking ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of building relationships across levels.

Responsibilities

• Register, verify and timely schedule patients according to the Company’s care model.
• Track new patients and ensure they are followed until scheduled.
• Schedule appointments according to care model, prioritizing urgency and patient preferences.
• Ensure schedules across all disciplines are optimized.
• Follow patients after discharge from inpatient facilities.
• Schedule TCM appointments within required windows.
• Maintain strong documentation across systems.
• Interact with patients via email, portal, phone, AthenaText, in-person to gather information, schedule and provide pre-appointment instructions.
• Interact with care team members to coordinate visits and provider encounters.
