Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Montgomery Village, MD is seeking a Part-time Caregiver to assist residents with daily activities, hygiene, mobility, and personal care, following individualized service plans and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

You will engage residents through conversation and activities, support dining services, and communicate with families and care leaders. CPR/First Aid is required or obtainable, and a HS diploma plus compassion and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes to care plans.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
