St Philips Care Group is seeking a reliable cook to join our busy kitchen at The Grove Skellingthorpe Care Centre. You will prepare and serve nutritious meals, adhere to budgets set by the home manager, and maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.

Training and support are provided to ensure continuity of care for residents. Experience in care, hospital, or commercial kitchens is helpful; NVQ Level 2 in Catering or equivalent, plus basic food hygiene certification, are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Verbal and written communication skills required.
• Knowledge of COSHH and high hygiene standards.
• Awareness of textures and modified diets is helpful.
• Experience in care, hospital, or commercial kitchens advantageous.

• Prepare and serve meals and beverages as required.
• Work in accordance with home policies.
• Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Use resources efficiently and order food as needed.
• Report issues or concerns from residents to the Care Centre Manager.
• Attend mandatory in-house training as required.
• Understand COSHH requirements.
• Keep cleanliness and hygiene records up to date.
