The Grove Estate Rehab is seeking a reliable, compassionate Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents while upholding food safety and kitchen cleanliness. You will work closely with the rehabilitation team to meet dietary needs and maintain high service standards.

Ideal candidates have prior cooking experience in healthcare or institutional environments, strong organizational skills, and a caring, professional attitude dedicated to quality mealtime experiences for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook, preferably in healthcare, rehab, hospitality, or institutional setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to prepare meals for multiple people efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook daily meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, appetizing, and served on time.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene.
• Monitor food inventory and report items that need to be reordered.
• Receive and store food supplies correctly.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Follow health, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation team to accommodate residents' dietary needs.
