Job summary

Riverside Commons, operated by Avon Healthcare Services Ltd, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help maintain interior and exterior spaces, handle electrical/plumbing tasks, light construction, drywall patching, and coordinate service from vendors.

This role requires a hands-on, customer-focused problem solver with attention to detail and strong teamwork to keep our facility running smoothly for residents.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall plant operations, interior and exterior maintenance
• Perform electrical/plumbing work, light construction, drywall patch/paint, and other tasks
• Coordinate scheduled service from outside vendors (HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing)
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring timely task completion
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and deadline management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless facility operations
