Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical training and prior food service experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of food preparation and serving for residents as required.
• Manage culinary preparation, execution, and serving according to menus/recipes.
• Maintain meal times by having items prepared on time.
• Label, date, cover, and store all food items properly.
• Record refrigerator and freezer temperatures and take corrective action if needed.
• Ensure proper food preparation accuracy, timeliness, presentation, and temperatures.
• Assist Dining Director in duties related to kitchen operations.
• Create a clean, safe environment delivering high quality nutritional care.
• Attend scheduled training and orientation programs to maintain quality of care.
