Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will maintain quality and safety standards while delivering excellent service in a supportive environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in food preparation and knowledge of dietary requirements. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and comply with vaccination policies. This is an on-site position in Georgetown, SC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Positive attitude; effectively communicate with occupants, staff, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
