KidsTLC is seeking a Care Facilitator/Behavioral Health Tech in Olathe, KS. This full-time role supports youth ages 6–18 in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility, delivering therapy, life skills, and emotional growth.

The role requires a HS diploma, 21+ with a valid license, and a compassionate, patient, and humorous approach. Weekend availability is preferred and starting pay is listed as $20/hr with a $23/hr weekend differential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality therapeutic care for children aged 6-18 in the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.
• Provide life skills instruction, coping and team building for each child.
• Encourage physical, emotional and behavioral growth and development.
• Maintain the safety and security of the children and attend to their needs in a nurturing way.
• Provide complete documentation as required.
• Be part of a learning culture with teamwork, collaboration, excellence and diversity.
• Shifts: 12:00 PM–10:00 PM, Sun-Wed; 1 day each weekend availability preferred.

Care Facilitator/Behavioral Health Tech (Full Time)
Location: Olathe, KS

STARTING PAY $20.00/hr*

FT/PT $3.00 pay differential ($23/hr.) from Friday 5pm - Sunday 10pm

Shifts Needed: 12pm-10pm with Sunday and/or Saturday availability

Major Duties

• Provide high quality therapeutic care for children, ranging in age from 6-18 years of age, within the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.
• Provide life skills instruction, coping and team building skills for each child.
• Encourage physical, emotional and behavioral growth and development for youth.
• Maintain the safety and security of the children in care and attend to their needs in a nurturing way.
• Provides complete documentation as required.
• Be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, leadership is valued and diversity is respected.
• Shifts, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Wed-Sat or 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm Sun-We. 1 day each weekend availability is preferred.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

Minimum:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred (not required):

• College credit hours in social work, psychology or related mental health fields from an accredited college.
