Job summary

Happier at Home, based in Central Iowa, seeks a Care Coordinator to ensure smooth operations, staffing, and growth of client and staff alike. This on-site role requires coordinating caregiver schedules, communicating with field staff, handling inquiries, maintaining records, and supporting business development.

The Care Coordinator works to ensure the operation runs efficiently so we can effectively manage, support, and grow our clientele and our staff.

The Care Coordinator role is essential for successful operations, management, and growth. There are a few must-haves for the right applicant:

• Strong organizational skills. Such skills include managing numerous schedules, information systems, people, tasks, and projects.
• Excellent communication skills. This includes verbal, written, and listening.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Passion. A caring person who can demonstrate empathy and has a passion for our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and monitor daily caregiver schedules to address staffing needs.
• Communicate with field staff regarding schedules and pertinent client information.
• Answer phones, solve issues, or provide information as requested.
• Maintain timekeeping records in the scheduling system.
• Follow up on new client prospects.
• Screen potential caregiver applicants.
• Onboard new caregivers.Client/family communication.
• Maintain a learning management system for caregivers.
• Assist with filing and other administrative tasks as assigned.
• Other responsibilities as requested by Business Manager or Owner.
