Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains regular, punctual attendance per Orlando Health policies.
• Verifies insurance coverage and obtains authorizations.
• Maintains authorization log and tracks status of requests.
• Facilitates escalations for authorizations between facilities.
• Works with IT to refine post-acute authorization processes and policies.
• Documents authorization workflows and best practices.
• Monitors updates for authorization requests initiated by post-acute facilities.
• Assists with other Care Management tasks as needed, including patient assessments and regulatory notices.
