Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
• Ability to articulate information clearly through written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
• Ability to manage time, multiple priorities, and resources to achieve goals.
• Experience with patient registration or case management is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides non-clinical administrative support for the Hub and Care Coordination team.
• Processes transfer documentation for post-acute care to facilitate timely discharges.
• Responds to inquiries from post-acute providers, patients, and families and directs to appropriate staff.
• Provides direct support for the Medicare Appeals Process.
• Monitors task lists and coordinates transportation as needed.
• Communicates operational activities to leadership and participates in performance improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
