Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Collect money due at time of service and verify insurance authorizations.
• Convert referrals into evaluations and schedule patient visits.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families.
• Obtain and manage insurance authorizations for physical therapy.
• Communicate with clinical staff, physician offices and carriers for approvals.
• Track authorization status and reauthorizations to prevent interruptions.
• Submit required documentation to payers and maintain EMR records.
