Job summary

Companions & Homemakers HCA #2052 in Norwich, CT, seeks a Care Center Administrator to lead operations across assigned centers, drive fiscal performance, and ensure compliance with policies and standards. You will manage office and field staff, oversee budgeting, billing, and client satisfaction, and collaborate with Clinical and nursing leadership to implement care standards.

Travel up to 25-40% may be required. Benefits include 401k, health benefits, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience in business office setting or two additional years of management/leadership experience.
• Proven positive history of leadership.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage high volume decision making.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Preferred: Experience in Home and Community Based Services, Managed Care or Waiver programs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing a team of office and field staff.
• Implements team engagement, recruitment, hiring, orientation, and development to ensure staffing.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and policies, addressing deficiencies identified through audits.
• Participates in Care Center budget development and Monthly Operating Review meetings.
• Ensures accurate billing for services; analyzes data and drives issue resolution.
• Ensures client, family, and external satisfaction with services.
• Directs business development activities for the care center(s).
• Collaborates with Clinical Manager and nursing leadership on clinical operations standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
