Job summary

Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution Ltd (RFBI) invites applications for a Care at Home Officer in Holt. You will support clients with daily living, personal care, light domestic tasks and social activities as outlined in their care plans.

You will follow care plans, report changes to the Care at Home Coordinator, assist with medication supervision and liaise with families and health professionals to ensure needs are met.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged or Community Care
• Previous experience within the aged care sector
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Full Australian Drivers Licence and comprehensive car insurance
• Ability to work weekends

Responsibilities

• Following the client’s support plan and reporting changes to the Care at Home Coordinator

Care at Home Officer - Holt

Your role will involve:

• Supporting clients with their daily living, personal care, general house cleaning, shopping, respite and social support and other requirements specified in their care plans
• Following the clients support plan and report any changes observed to the Care at Home Coordinator
• Assisting with medication supervision; recording basic clinical observationsLiaising with families and health professionals to ensure all client needs are met

You will bring:

• A Certificate III in Aged or Community Care
• Previous experience within the aged care sector
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Full Australian Drivers Licence and comprehensive car insurance
• The ability to work weekends
