Job summary

Wellington is seeking a Care Associate for the Hershey's Mill community to support residents in the Assisted Living Program. You will assist with daily living activities, remind about medications, and provide compassionate, respectful care to help residents maintain dignity.

You will follow supervisor schedules, document daily logs, and communicate concerns. The role requires at least one year in senior care, English proficiency, and possibly a CNA or CHHA license depending on state; DailyPay

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform duties and emergencies.
• License may be required (CNA or CHHA) depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders and escort service as needed.
• Follow the resident care schedule set by supervisor.
• Document daily log of assistance and report concerns to supervisor.
• Support emotional and social needs while respecting independence and dignity.

In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.

• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.

• You have at least oneyearof experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
