Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking caring staff to assist residents in the Assisted Living Program, helping with daily living activities and encouraging independence with dignity. You will support residents’ emotional and social needs, document daily activities, and communicate any concerns to your supervisor.

One year of senior care experience and English proficiency are required; state-dependent CNA/CHHA licensure may be needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties and emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to high-stress situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor with residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (med reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort).
• Follow the schedule set by supervisor for each resident.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily logs of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage residents' independence and dignity.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents.
