Job summary

The Variel Assisted Living is seeking compassionate Caregivers (Resident Care Associates) to support residents in a luxury senior living community in Woodland Hills, CA. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including weekends and NOC coverage.

As a Caregiver, you’ll assist with activities of daily living, provide respectful, person-centered care, and help residents maintain dignity and quality of life while working within care plans and with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum eligibility includes high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in assisted living or memory care preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with residents and staff.
• Must be able to lift up to 50–80 lbs and stay active on shift.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to residents, helping with daily activities and mobility.
• Support dignity, respect, and individualized care for each resident.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to leadership.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and activities per care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safety and cleanliness.

What You’ll Do

As a Caregiver, you will provide hands-on support while helping residents maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide care with a strong focus on dignity, respect, and individuality
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to leadership
• Support medication assistance (as trained and permitted)
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and laundry
• Follow care plans and support resident activities and engagement
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and safety needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication
• Create a positive, welcoming environment for residents, families, and guests

Shift Expectations

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Must be available for weekend rotations
• NOC shift team members must be able to remain alert and responsive throughout the shift

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting also
• preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
• Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable

• Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state
• regulations.
• Must be able to work full-time or part-time as agreed upon, on assigned shift, including
