Job summary

The Variel at Woodland Hills is seeking compassionate Caregivers (Resident Care Associates) to provide hands-on support in a luxury assisted living and memory care community. Roles available full-time and part-time with weekend rotations, including NOC shifts, to help residents maintain dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with elderly in a residential or long-term care setting preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• CPR/First Aid certification may be required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Provide care with a focus on dignity, respect and individuality.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to leadership.
• Support medication assistance as trained and permitted.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping and laundry.
• Follow care plans and support resident activities and engagement.
• Respond to emergencies and safety needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication.
• Create a positive, welcoming environment for residents, families, and guests.

What You’ll Do

As a Caregiver, you will provide hands-on support while helping residents maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide care with a strong focus on dignity, respect, and individuality
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to leadership
• Support medication assistance (as trained and permitted)
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and laundry

• Respond appropriately to emergencies and safety needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication

Shift Expectations

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Must be available for weekend rotations
• NOC shift team members must be able to remain alert and responsive throughout the shift

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting also
• preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
• Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable
• accommodation.
• Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state
• regulations.
• Must be able to work full-time or part-time as agreed upon, on assigned shift, including
• weekend and holiday rotations
