Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living is seeking caregivers for our Evergreen Memory Care Neighborhood in Los Angeles. We offer full-time AM/PM/NOC shifts (Friday–Monday or Saturday–Wednesday) with competitive pay $18.50–$19.50 per hour, depending on experience. Training provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with ADLs, ensuring dignity and safety, and communicating changes to supervisors. We value teamwork, compassion, and a commitment to quality elder care.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; training available.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Ability to interact with staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass background check and health screenings.
• COVID-related health/safety measures may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in activities of daily living per care plan.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Communicate observed changes in residents' condition to a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents’ needs promptly while maintaining residents’ self‑respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co‑workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of COVID‑19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
