AdaptHealth is seeking an Intake Specialist in Tennessee to coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure services are set up accurately and efficiently. You will work with patients, providers, and internal teams to navigate insurance requirements and move the intake process forward smoothly.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required.
• High School Diploma or higher required; healthcare admin education preferred.
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals, verify eligibility, and coordinate intake with patients and providers.
• Communicate with patients about financial responsibility and collect payments when applicable.
• Obtain complete and compliant documentation from referral sources and clinical teams.
• Enter referrals within established timeframes and maintain accurate records.
