Qualifications

• RN license required in state or compact.
• BSN preferred for leadership role.
• Experience leading on a cardiovascular unit is desirable.
• Basic life support and unit-specific certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on designated unit and with the care team.
• Adjust schedules and assignments based on acuity and resources.
• Mentor nursing staff and provide guidance in the unit leader role.
• Maintain safety and infection control standards and equipment.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional team to ensure quality care.
