WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer to join the Cardiovascular Testing team in Cary. The role involves performing high-quality cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations across ambulatory locations, with a focus on accurate diagnoses and compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate holds RDCS/RVT or RCS/RVS credentials, has at least 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience, and demonstrates teamwork and commitment to safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• RDCS and RVT or RCS and RVS credential
• Minimum 1 year clinical ultrasound experience
• Skilled in cardiac and vascular imaging with high standards of quality and safety

Responsabilités

• Perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor image quality and adjust settings for accurate results
• Provide compassionate patient care and address patient comfort and understanding
• Document diagnostic findings and enter data into the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated cardiovascular care
