Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) in Cardiovascular to engage health care providers with scientific dialogue, promote indicated medicines, and drive demand within a defined territory.

The TAS will build credibility with regional thought leaders and office staff, collaborate cross-functionally, and prioritize safe, appropriate use of BMS products while delivering strong business results.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree; 5+ years pharma/biotech sales or MSL experience.
• Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately to physicians.
• Proven credibility with key customers and patient care network.

Responsibilities

• Promotes approved indications within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
• Engages with and maintains/grows scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
• Proactively uses CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans.
• Provides feedback on tools to leadership for improvement.
