Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Technologist in Florida. The role supports physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, operates specialized equipment, and performs hemodynamic monitoring.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, Florida state registration as a Radiologic Technician, ARRT or Cardiovascular invasive credentials, and BLS/ACLS with ACLS obtained within 60 days of start date.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience required
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) registry, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS must be obtained within 45 days of hire date

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency in various anatomical parts

• Supports general efficient function of the lab by assisting in transporting patients to or from the Lab

Cardiovascular Technologist candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

• Under general supervision, makes preparation, operates equipment and assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures special procedures; performs hemodynamic monitoring and other duties as assigned.
• Performs radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency in a variety of anatomical parts.
• Recognizes the importance of supporting the team in general care of the patient and family member.
• Supports general efficient function of the lab by assisting in transporting patients to or from the Lab.

Job Qualifications

Cardiovascular Technologist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• 1 year of Previous Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience required
