Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL seeks an experienced cardiovascular/ radiology professional to assist with diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision. You will handle a range of cath/EP lab equipment and uphold patient safety while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have cardiovascular or radiology training, clinical cath/EP exposure, and current CVT/RTR credentials with ACLS/BLS; RCIS within six months and RCES after 2 years EP

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular or radiology program with cardiac experience.
• Cath lab or EP lab experience is preferred but not required.
• Two years in Cath or EP is preferred but not required.
• Current CVT or RTR credential; ACLS and BLS certifications required on hire.
• Within six months of hire must obtain RCIS; RCES is required after 2 years EP experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing, performing and completing diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.
• Operates a variety of equipment and technology; adheres to hospital and department policies.
• Practices safety guidelines and fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility.
• Contributes to patient care across shifts as needed.
