Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a qualified cardiovascular procedure assistant in Florida. You will support diagnostic and interventional angiography under physician supervision, handling diverse equipment and ensuring patient safety and care in alignment with department policies.

Ideal candidates have a cardiovascular or radiology background with cardiac experience; cath/EP experience is preferred, with RCIS within six months and RCES after two years. Schedule is part-time with shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular program or radiology program with cardiac experience.
• Two years in Cath or EP preferred but not required.
• RCIS required within six months; RCES after 2 years EP experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, performing and completing diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.
• Competence with a variety of equipment and technology; ensure patient care per policies.
• Foster teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in job duties.
