Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Study Manager - Cardiovascular to lead interdisciplinary clinical research studies, ensuring GCP compliance and timely delivery.

You will act as the primary liaison between the customer and internal teams, manage study timelines, budgets, TMF quality, and regulatory deliverables.

Travel approximately 25% is expected; the role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to drive successful outcomes for complex cardiovascular programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, nursing or related field.
• CRO experience and therapeutic familiarity preferred; strong knowledge of GCP/ICH.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Independent, self-motivated with excellent communication.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25%.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Project leadership and delivery: manage studies per GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Primary liaison between the Company and Customer to ensure timely study launch and closeout.
• Lead project teams to ensure quality, timelines and budget management.
• Accountable for financial performance and coordination of study partners.
• Ensure TMF quality and study information across databases/systems.
• Oversee study-management components for inspection readiness.
• Plan, coordinate and present at internal/external meetings.
• Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies.
• Build strong client relationships to generate new/add-on business.
• May participate in bid defense and line-manage PM staff.
