Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Study Manager - Ophthalmology to lead cross-functional clinical studies in a fast-paced CRO environment. You will coordinate study teams, manage timelines, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining close client relationships in the ophthalmology therapeutic area.

You will drive study planning, risk mitigation, and TMF quality, with travel up to 25%. This role demands strong communication, organization, and a track record in ophthalmology or related CRO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, medicine, or nursing or equivalent experience.
• Experience in CRO environments and familiarity with GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Direct therapeutic area expertise and adaptability to new tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary clinical research projects and ensure GCP/regulatory compliance.
• Act as primary liaison with customers to ensure timely study launch and closeout.
• Guide project teams to maintain quality, timelines, and budget.
• Oversee TMF quality, data, and study information across systems.
• Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation for study goals.
