Amgen is recruiting for a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative in the cardiovascular area to engage medical professionals with current clinical knowledge of Amgen products. The role emphasizes building relationships, promoting products, and navigating complex payer environments within Saint Louis and surrounding territories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR
• Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization of the products.
• Deliver branded sales messages and achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including discussing needs and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans with District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialist.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen’s products and uphold patient focus throughout the sales cycle.
