Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative for the Cardiovascular area in the United States. You will be the primary contact for medical professionals, providing clinical product knowledge and guiding them through the payer landscape while executing the marketing strategy under district leadership.

The role requires building strong accounts, delivering branded messages, and achieving sales targets through both in-person and virtual methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life sciences, business, or related field.
• Sales experience in pharma/biotech or medical devices is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clinical information to healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages and achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including discussing patient access and contract terms.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze territory performance, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow within the Senior Specialty Representative role.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen’s products and maintain patient-centered focus throughout the sales cycle.
