Job summary

Banner Staffing Services-AZ in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for Cath Lab coverage. The role involves radiographic procedures, scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring with a team in a high-volume lab. Flexible day shifts, on-site work, and registry/per diem status with no guaranteed hours.

The candidate will perform diagnostic/interventional radiography, educate patients, maintain records, and uphold radiation safety while supporting physicians during cases.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or <2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP experience.
• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Requires ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology as required by state law.
• BLS and ACLS; PALS where applicable.
• Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and Cath Lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic diagnostic/interventional procedures following order and policy.
• Educates patients and families regarding procedures and treatment.
• Produces high-quality images and documents results for interpretation.
• Performs invasive/interventional procedures and administers radiopharmaceuticals as applicable.
• Performs equipment quality control and troubleshoots equipment issues.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards in radiology.
• Ensures efficient workflow and monitors inventory to prevent interruptions.
• Independently performs prescribed radiographic procedures per department protocols.
