Job summary

Banner Health's Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist to join our fast-paced Cath Lab team. You will scrub, circulate and monitor during procedures, assist physicians, and provide imaging support as part of a high-performing team.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT Radiologic Technology certification, BLS/ACLS (PALS if applicable), and have 3+ years Cath Lab or EP experience.

Qualifications

Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT Radiologic Technology certification is required by state law.
BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS where applicable.
Post-primary certification with Cath Lab/EP experience: 3 years minimum or 5 years with 2 years in a moderate acuity/complex coronary environment.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care and serves as a resource for clinical support within the department.
Educates others on medical equipment and EP program needs; coordinates with vendors and other departments.
Facilitates patient flow and ensures safe, cost-effective care with high patient satisfaction.
Performs preventive maintenance and safety inspections on equipment; communicates repair status.
Participates in process improvement and quality management activities within the department.
