Job summary

Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to support the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab. The role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and electrophysiology procedures, with a focus on imaging, scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Cath Lab or EP settings, ARRT radiologic tech credentials, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology; licensing as required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and clinical support within the department.
• Serve as primary resource for equipment education and staff training.
• Facilitate patient flow and ensure safe, cost-effective care.
• Perform maintenance and safety inspections on care equipment.
• Support quality management and process improvement activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and adherence to safety policies.
• Demonstrate aseptic technique and proper disposal of sharps and waste.
• Ensure efficient workflow and case preparedness.
