Job summary

Corewell Health's Royal Oak Hospital is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the 2 East Surgical Critical Care Unit. You will provide professional nursing care to acutely ill patients using the nursing process, collaborate with surgeons, cardiology teams, and AP providers, and participate in discharge planning and patient education.

The role requires MI RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and an Associates in Nursing with a BSN targeted within 5 years. Night shifts offer 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required; BSN within 5 years.
• MI RN license required.
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Partner with care teams and families to plan and execute care.
• Ensure discharge planning and patient/family teaching are documented in the health record.
• Night shift schedule and 36 hours weekly, with 7:00 PM–7:30 AM hours.
