Corewell Health's Royal Oak Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac ICU 6E. You will deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process, partner with patients and families, and contribute to discharge planning and patient education.

Required are an Associate's in Nursing, Michigan RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and a Bachelor's in Nursing within 5 years; specialty certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years.
• NCLEX licensure examination required.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS required within 6 months.
• Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• The RN, under the ANA scope of practice, provides professional nursing care by incorporating the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• The RN partners with patient/family input and goals in planning the care and develops teaching strategies; documents education in the health record.
