Corewell Health's Royal Oak 5 Northwest surgical unit seeks an RN to provide professional nursing care using the nursing process with patient-family centered care. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge under the Nurse Leader's guidance.

The role requires RN licensure (MI) within 60 days, BLS, and acute care experience. Night shift, full-time 36 hours weekly (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.), with variable days.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing Required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have NCLEX licensure.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire from one of the following organizations - American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and plan patient care with patient/family input.
• Educate patients and families and document education in the health record.
