Corewell Health's Royal Oak Hospital seeks an experienced RN for the Med Surg Care Unit Hospice 6C. You will provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population during night shifts, applying the nursing process and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an ADN/ Diploma or BSN, RN license in MI, and BLS. It offers a strong benefits package and opportunities for professional governance and learning.

Qualifications

Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required.
Bachelor's in Nursing Required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required within 60 days of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire from one of the following organizations - American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
Partner with patient/family in planning and education.
Document education and learning in health records.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team.
