Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide direct care within established policies and protocols. The role features rotating day and night shifts, with every other holiday and weekend coverage.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary care and support discharge planning for diverse patient populations. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with CT RN license and BLS certification is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must be able to commute to Bridgeport, CT.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Coordinates patient care with the healthcare team.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses discharge planning needs with the team.
