Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Cardiovascular Registered Nurse to support the cardiology team. The RN will assist the cardiologist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms, Direct Current Cardioversions, and Pharmacological Stress Echocardiograms, while advocating for patients and ensuring safe procedural prep.

Requires RN licensure and BLS within 30 days of start; a Masters, Bachelors, or Associate degree is acceptable.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in Florida.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Masters, Bachelor's, or Associate degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cardiologist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and Direct Current Cardioversions.
• Facilitate Pharmacological Stress Echocardiograms with Chest Pain Nursing staff.
• Advocate for patients and ensure proper procedural preparation.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is to assist the cardiologist in performing Transesophageal Echocardiograms,

and Direct Current Cardioversions. Helps to facilitate and execute Pharmacological Stress

Echocardiograms in conjunction with the Chest Pain Nursing staff. Assumes the role of the patient

advocate. Exhibits knowledge of patient procedural preparation. Care given reflects initiative

and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Utilizes initiative, strives to maintain

steady level of productivity. Displays understanding in absolute and relative contraindications

prior to all procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Masters Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
