Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is to assist the cardiologist in performing Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and Direct Current Cardioversions. Helps to facilitate and execute Pharmacological Stress Echocardiograms in conjunction with the Chest Pain Nursing staff. Assumes the role of the patient advocate. Exhibits knowledge of patient procedural preparation. Care given reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Utilizes initiative, strives to maintain steady level of productivity. Displays understanding in absolute and relative contraindications prior to all procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Masters Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
