Job summary

Novartis in East Hanover, NJ seeks an Executive Director, Product Strategy Lead to orchestrate integrated product strategies for a US indication. You will oversee KPIs, resource allocation, and P&L impact, coordinating with Marketing, Market Access, and Medical teams under the General Manager guidance.

The role requires 10+ years in pharma/healthcare with global/local alignment, 3+ years driving budgets and trade-offs, and US market experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or healthcare consulting industry with cross-functional experience.
• 3+ years of direct responsibility for large budget management and product trade-off decisions.
• 3+ years leading and translating an integrated product strategy requiring global and local alignment.
• US Market, launch and lifecycle experience or GM experience in another country.

Responsibilities

• Define integrated priorities and KPIs for the product/indication with cross-functional teams under GM leadership.
• Measure and drive KPIs across the product strategy to increase impact.
• Contribute to the P&L and enable partner functions to manage day-to-day resources.
• Influence topline results through strategic choices and cross-functional trade-offs.
• Coordinate resource allocation across functions to deliver maximum impact.
• Coordinate KPI management across all functions accountable for the strategy.
• Partner with functional heads on trade-off decisions and with GM for enterprise-level decisions.
