Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking a capable Surgical Technologist/OR Technician to support the surgical team. The role involves prepping supplies, maintaining sterility, and assisting the surgeon to ensure patient safety during procedures.

This full-time position requires 1+ cardiovascular OR experience, BLS, and CST OR Technician certification. Sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance are offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 1+ cardiovascular operating room experience is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or OR technician certification required.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and informs the circulating nurse throughout a procedure.
• Maintains high standards and quality in cost savings and containment.
• Assembles all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the procedure.
• Supports customer and employee satisfaction activities; maintains relationships with physicians and staff; responds to complaints timely.
• Monitors aseptic technique of the surgical team and corrects any breaches.
• Identifies and reports environmental concerns and ensures policy compliance.
