Job summary

Carson Tahoe Health is seeking an experienced OR RN to oversee daily operations of the CVOR and assigned specialties, ensuring smooth case flow and readiness of supplies and equipment. You will collaborate with surgeons and OR leadership to coordinate weekly/daily schedules, assist in circulation and scrubbing as trained, and maintain instruments and inventory to support safe patient care.

The role requires Nevada RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and ≥2 years in the OR; CNOR and BSN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Nevada RN license required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years OR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily function of assigned specialties.
• Coordinate communication between leadership, staff and surgeons.
• Monitor case schedules and ensure availability of supplies/equipment.
• Assist with circulation and scrubbing as trained; maintain equipment and rooms.
• Coordinate with OR buyers on backorders and vendor training.
• Contribute to policy/procedure development and budget discussions.
