Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed as an RN in Nevada or holding an Interim Permit.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• One year of operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with surgeon and health care professionals for optimal outcomes.
• Delivers safe, effective, and patient-family centered care under supervision.
• Participates in nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Develops and participates in the patient care plan.
• Performs bedside handovers and maintains compliant documentation.
• Incorporates patient and family in planning care and goals.
• Assesses changes in vital signs and abnormal data and reports to physicians.
• Manages care plan changes as patient conditions evolve.
• Provides patient teaching and discharge planning elements.
• Demonstrates competency in CVOR and assists in teaching staff.
