Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a full-time CVOR/OR RN for day shift. You will provide direct patient care from infant to geriatric in the surgical environment, communicating with surgeons and anesthesiologists and ensuring equipment readiness and pain management supplies.

Qualification includes an active NV RN license, ACLS & BLS certification, and at least one year of operating room experience.

Qualifications

• Current NV RN license is required.
• At least one year experience in the Operating Room.
• Current ACLS & BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates supportive behaviors necessary for bedside report.
• Takes appropriate actions and documents in response to anxiety or distress.
• Gives patient explanations and verbal assurances.
• Formulates an individualized plan of care and evaluates effectiveness.
• Identifies physical symptoms and takes timely actions.
