Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa seeks an experienced RN for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (Days). The role supports a high-acuity surgical service line and requires a strong cardiovascular OR background.

Responsibilities include independent nursing care, supervision of team members, and acting as preceptor/charge nurse as assigned. Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year OR/CVOR experience preferred. On-site, full-time with occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct RN care for a cardiovascular OR patient population
• Delegate appropriate tasks to care team as needed
• Maintain professional accountability and clinical standards
• Serve as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
