Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven seeks a Cardiovascular Operating Room RN (Days) to join our in-house surgical team. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in the CVOR, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

The position emphasizes 2+ years of RN experience with 1 year in the CVOR preferred; BLS and RN licensure are required, with ACLS/CNOR preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with occasional weekend work and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization.
• RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
