UNC Health's Main Operating Room in Chapel Hill is seeking an experienced OR Nurse for our Cardiovascular OR team. The role requires at least one year of prior OR experience, preferably in vascular and cardiac services. Robotic experience is a plus.

Four 10-hour shifts weekly, with 11am-9pm or 7am-5pm options, and call/holiday requirements. The department features 26 ORs, including hybrid rooms, and a fast-paced, tech-forward environment with multiple service lines and state-of-the-art

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience required.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Education: identify and meet learning needs; participate in education programs.
• Evaluation of Care: identify outcomes and revise plan of care with team.
• Implementation: provide care for patients with complex problems and coordinate with resources.
• Leadership: develop goals and promote collaboration and safety.
• Patient Assessment: assess data to determine priorities and plan care.
• Planning: collaborate with patient/family to update the plan of care.
• Research: review journals and bring applicable ideas to the team.
