Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Hospital, part of IntermountainHealth, seeks a Cardiovascular OR RN to join our surgical services team in Grand Junction, CO. As a CVOR nurse, you’ll collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to ensure safe, high-quality care for surgical patients.

Required is a BSN, Colorado RN license (or compact), BLS, and ideally 1+ year of Cardiothoracic nursing. We offer competitive benefits, education assistance up to $5,250/year, and a supportive mission-driven

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate).
• At least one (1) year of Cardiothoracnursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical services setting, highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind.
• Assess a patients’ medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
