Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced RN for the Cardiovascular/OR team.

The Staff RN-Cardiovascular is responsible for direct and indirect perioperative patient care, collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and participating in performance improvement.

Shift is days, 6:30am–3:00pm, with on-call rotation; a $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• One year cardiovascular OR experience required.
• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and older adults.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist, directing OR staff to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
